Eyelash Extension
Care Guide
-
Arrive with Clean Lashes
Please come to your appointment with clean, makeup-free lashes. Remove all mascara, eye makeup, oils, or residue to ensure proper adhesion of the extensions.Avoid Caffeine
Try to avoid caffeine before your appointment. Caffeine can cause eye twitching, making the application process more difficult and less comfortable.Remove Contact Lenses
If possible, remove contact lenses before your appointment to prevent dryness or irritation during the procedure.Avoid Curling Your Lashes
Do not use a mechanical or heated lash curler before your appointment. Curled or heat-damaged lashes can be weakened and may not hold extensions as securely, leading to premature shedding.Arrive on Time
Arriving promptly allows you to relax and ensures your full treatment time is utilized for the best possible outcome. -
Avoid Water and Steam for 24–48 Hours
Keep your lashes dry for at least 24–48 hours after application. Avoid swimming, steam rooms, hot showers, and saunas. Water and steam can weaken the adhesive bond and cause lashes to fall out prematurely.Avoid Rubbing or Touching Your Eyes
Do not rub, pull, or tug on your extensions. Excessive friction can damage both the extensions and your natural lashes.Avoid Eye Makeup
Refrain from using mascara, eyeliner, or other makeup around the eyes for at least 24 hours after your appointment. Many cosmetic products contain oils or waxes that can weaken the lash adhesive.Brush Lashes Daily (if applicable)
Use a clean spoolie brush to gently comb through your lashes once a day.
Note: Only brush classic and soft volume lash sets. Avoid brushing if you have a customized or mega volume set to prevent loosening the fans.Use Only Oil-Free, Lash-Safe Products
Choose oil-free cleansers, makeup removers, and skincare products. Oil can break down the adhesive bond and reduce lash retention.Sleep on Your Back
Try to sleep on your back for the first few nights to prevent lashes from pressing against your pillow, which can cause bending or premature shedding.Be Gentle When Cleansing
After 48 hours, you may cleanse your face and lashes, but do so carefully. Use a lash-safe, oil-free cleanser and gently pat dry—never rub.Monitor for Reactions
Clients who experience any reaction (such as itchiness, swelling, or redness) within 24 hours are strongly advised to return for a removal. Do not attempt to remove lashes at home.Regular Refills
To maintain a full lash look, schedule refill appointments every 2–3 weeks. Proper maintenance helps keep your extensions looking beautiful and prevents damage to your natural lashes. -
You’ll notice instantly fuller, longer, and more defined lashes right after your appointment. Your extensions will enhance your eye shape and eliminate the need for daily mascara. The finished look may appear slightly more dramatic in the first 24 hours before the adhesive fully cures and the lashes settle into place.
-
Some clients may experience mild tightness, sensitivity, or slight redness around the eye area immediately after the treatment. This is normal and typically subsides within a few hours. If discomfort persists beyond 24 hours or you experience swelling, itchiness, or redness, please return for a professional removal.
-
It’s normal for your lashes to feel a bit different or slightly heavier in the first day or two as you adjust to the extensions. After a short period, they will feel completely natural.
-
The lash adhesive continues to cure for up to 24–48 hours after your appointment. During this time, it’s crucial to avoid water, steam, and oil-based products to ensure optimal bond strength and long-lasting retention.
-
It’s normal to see a few extensions shed daily—each natural lash follows its own growth cycle. Shedding will happen gradually and evenly, maintaining a full look between refill appointments.
-
As your natural lashes shed, you may notice slight gaps or unevenness in your extensions after a few weeks. Regular refills every 2–3 weeks will maintain fullness and ensure your set always looks flawless.
